Hello. I’m Danny Heydt, the guy behind Gadget Programmer. I’ve been developing software professionally for around 30 years (yikes! that’s a long time).
I was inspired to become a programmer because of a computer my brother built(from scratch) and my first programming job was for a small company that built an audience response system.
Sometimes I miss those early days when it was always like exploring mysteries and creating some ingenious solution that no one had thought of before.
I hope to introduce you to that same feeling of satisfaction and accomplishment through being creative and most importantly having fun. And in the end, if you can make a living at it too then all the better.
